
GRANT APPLICATION
GRANT CRITERIA
In order to qualify for Grant consideration from the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation, the following criteria must be met by your organization:

Serve or support youths in one of these categories: Sports, Arts, Volunteerism, Education.

The Grant organization must be 501(c)(3) approved and the project in need of funding must be located in a city/town in Central Minnesota.

Demonstrates impact to the recipients, exhibits potential for sustainability and assures equality o Project S.A.V.E. will not support applications that have specific administrative payroll needs if funding does not stay local to Central Minnesota or if a multi-year request.

The average amount for a Grant from the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation is between $1,000 to $5,000, subject to available funds.

If your organization previously received a grant from the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation, please attach both a copy of the acknowledgment e-mail letter informing you of your grant and a description of the grant-funded.
GRANT TIMELINE
Each year, the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation will have two (2) possible Grant cycles based on the number of requests received: Spring (applications received during the months of January-April) and Summer (applications received during the months of May-July). Grant Awarding for the approved applicants will take place at a St. Cloud Rox Baseball Game at Joe Faber Field. Dates will vary based on home game scheduling from the Northwoods League.
During the months of August-December each year, the Grant cycle will be closed.
After a completed Grant application is received, the organization submitting the application will receive an e-mail from the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation. The electronic message will inform the sender of the application’s acceptance and notify the organization should there be any missing documents needed to complete the application and of the deadline date for final review.
Every Grant Application will be reviewed by the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation Advisory Committee for final recommendation to the Board of Directors. Please submit FIVE (5) COMPLETED SETS per Application. Once all Grant Applications have been reviewed, a requesting applicant may be asked to participate in a scheduled interview to review the project information? Once the final Grant Award decisions have been made by the Project S.A.V.E. Foundation, only those Approved Grant Applications will be notified (by phone). The message will inform the organization of the Grant Award final amount and of the Grant Award Ceremony date.
