Grant Awards Recap - 2019 - 2023

The Rox Project S.A.V.E. Foundation has funded eleven (11) individual Grants in categories ranging from Sports, Arts, Volunteerism, and Education during its first four years of operation. We are proud to be able to be a supportive teammate for our youth in communities all throughout Central Minnesota.

GRANT AWARDS – PAST RECIPIENTS
 

Paramount Center for the Arts
Grant Award Date: July 8, 2019
Grant Amount: $2,000
Grant Category: Arts
Purpose: Fund the Arts Underground Program for teenagers between the ages of 13-19 based in Central Minnesota and Scholarships for at-risk students and youths from low-income families to attend at no cost in addition to purchasing art supplies, etc.


Minnesota Dance Ensemble
Grant Award Date: July 8, 2019
Grant Amount: $2,000
Grant Category: Arts
Purpose: Fund Scholarships for financially challenged children between the ages of 9-16 in communities all throughout Central Minnesota.


Civil Air Patrol
Grant Award Date: January 27, 2020
Grant Amount: $1,000
Grant Category: Education

Purpose: Support Aerospace Education Program through the purchase of Drone Kits for Cadets between the ages of 12-19 that will allow them to practice communication and teamwork skills.
 

Wirth Center for the Performing Arts
Grant Award Date: March 10, 2020
Grant Amount: $1,500
Grant Category: Arts
Purpose: Help fund two individual events: the Spring Gala ensemble concert and the School of Rock summer camp.

 

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa School District
Grant Award Date: March 10, 2020
Grant Amount: $1,000
Grant Category: Education
Purpose: Help support the creation of a new School Makerspace/Innovative Center designed to engage and enhance the learning standards for all district students between grades K-12.


Girl Scouts of Minnesota & Wisconsin Lakes and Pines / Waite Park Regional
Center Office
Grant Award Date: June 23, 2020
Grant Amount: $3,000
Grant Category: Volunteerism
Purpose: Help provide Memberships with Camp & Program Scholarships for area families who participate in the Girl Scouts in Action outreach program.

ARISE / St. Cloud Area School District 742
Grant Award Date: June 29, 2021
Grant Amount: $5,000
Grant Category: Education
Purpose: Provides funding support for children with disabilities in many Central Minnesota cities so they can access and participate in recreational programs alongside their peers.

Paramount Center for the Arts

Grant Award Date: July 15, 2021

Grant Amount: $2,500

Grant Category: Arts

Purpose: Fund a free family community block party celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Paramount Theatre 


Central Minnesota Habitat For Humanity
Grant Award Date: September 29, 2021
Grant Amount: $5,000
Grant Category: Volunteerism
Purpose: Purchase construction supplies to help support students at St. Cloud Tech High School complete an upper-level build of a Habitat Home.

Annandale Baseball Association

Grant Award Date: March 15, 2022

Grant Amount: $1,584.13

Grant Category: Sports

Purpose: Purchase of new catcher's equipment for U10 and U12 teams on behalf of the Association.
